This site was started as a labour of love, but is a bigger project than can easily be completed by a single researcher / collector.
We are very keen therefore to make contact with anyone who has done, or is doing research into Cambridgeshire Photographers and who would be interested in helping to make this a comprehensive source of information for anyone needing to know something about an old Cambridgeshire photograph and its origins. We think the combination of research and illustrated examples of work will provide the best resource possible for family and local historians.
In return for collaboration we can offer a site for you to publish your research and showcase your collection of local images. We can also offer free small ads, links to contributors' own sites or society sites they support and a place to seek information on mystery images.
This site simply would not work without the collaboration of many others and we would particularly like to thank Michael Brown, David Bushby, Diane Clark, Alexa Cox, Tony Gale, David Gobbitt, Paul Godfrey, Chris Jakes, Tom Johnson, Andy Ketley, Garry Monger, Peter Norman, Mike Petty, Simon Robinson, Simon Shirley, David Simkin and Nick Smith for their many contributions and continued support. |
